Best beaches I’ve been to in northern Philippines.

A beach lover myself, I’ve been to some of the best and most known beaches in Luzon, Philippines. If you think Boracay is the best beach here in the country, well, I’ll bet you will think twice after reading this.
Here are the top 3 beaches I’ve been to in the northern Philippines and make sure to include this in your travel next summer!
Dipaculao, Aurora.
Location: Dinadiawan, Aurora Province- 7 hours away from Manila
A hidden gem, Dipaculao is one virgin and peaceful paradise. Last Summer 2016, we went to La Sunshine Beach Resort for 3 days and 2 nights, and it was really worth it! It was my first time staying in a wooden beach house, and at night, the sky is full of glistening stars; it was like staring into space. What’s more, there is a small waterfall which is just a short hike from the resort.
Saud, Pagudpud
Location: Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte – 9-10 hours away from Manila
Whenever we visit our province in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, we make sure that we visit this place. But who’s complaining? Named the Boracay of the north, Saud beach has fine white sand and a picturesque beach. It’s even better than Boracay, to be honest. With small huts and a peaceful ambiance, I’ll never get tired of going back here again and again.
3. Matnog
Location: Sorsogon, Philippines – 14-16 hours away from Manila
Although the resort was not that good and the place was too far from Manila, the crystal clear beach of Matnog makes it to my top 3 list. Also known as Pink Beach, its perfect blue-green color and crystal clear water makes you think you’re swimming in a large pool.
Just seeing these pictures makes me feel excited about summer! As much as I want to travel to other countries, I still want to explore other beautiful beaches here in the Philippines.
How about you? What are the top 3 beautiful beaches you’ve been to? Comment down below so I can include it in my summer travel this year!
