This special and a milestone moment is one event that i won’t ever forget and also brought me to tears T.T
Last March 27 , I attended my college graduation and my last grad march in my life. It was an overwhelming feeling – although i really graduated last October. SBCA has brought so much memories and my wish when I was in first year of College was granted – to leave the school with a happy and accomplished feeling 🙂
It was a happy, nervous and sad day for me. Happy, because I got to attend a once-in-a-lifetime moment and i think, my resignation at my previous job was a blessing in disguise for me. There’s no way my devil manager would let me leave and attend my grad practices and my graduation. LOL 😛
Nervous, since marching at the aisle with those people staring at you like they are waiting for you to trip on something and when you’re name is called and you got to go up on stage to receive your diploma. IDK but that’s how i feel every time i attend those kind of events. haha 😀
And, I’m sad since I won’t get to hang out with my college friends anymore. I should say this is the farewell part to every graduation. Farewell to your school. Farewell to classmates and professors- terror profs, funny profs and kind profs. And last but not the least, farewell to your school life.
But then, this ceremony taught me to bring legacy to my Alma mater, and to prepare myself for the future. As what the saying goes ” this is not the end. this is only the beginning.” What we learned in school must not finish there – it must go throughout our lives. I now realized that those shits I’ve experienced in school – assignments, endless projects, thesis, exams and all is a training ground for us – to be ready for the real world.
So, congratulations to me and to all the graduates of this year’s batch, may we all have a happy and a successful life ahead. :))
P.S : before i end this post, lemme post my parents pic here 🙂 because they really love my toga. LOL 🙂 #cute
